I shall tip over the 300 mile mark this weekend for the first time. Parkrun (slow) this Saturday and the Oxford Half on Sunday.
There is potential for 400 by the end of the year too, but we’ll see. That might be a little too optomistic.

Got around my ninth marathon of the year yesterday. The third tough hilly one in a row. I was hoping to be about 15 minutes quicker but must stop trying to beat myself up if things don't work out well. On to Chelmsford in two weeks which I really enjoy. Not too many climbs on this occasion.

Still more-or-less on target for 500 miles despite the marathon frustrations. Once done, I can cut back quite a bit and start building up again for 2018.

Well done Phil, enjoy & good luck for Chelmsford.

I dragged my sorry cold fuelled self out for a 3miler tonight, it feels like its heading to my chest as I was wheezing like a 50-a-day smoker, but its done (kill or cure) I am so flipping tired though - I suspect my body is enjoying the slower pace the past few days lol.

Just over 550m for the year, hoping to squeeze at least another 100 in before year end, aiming for 700 as a stretch target.

Just updated the header, apologies for any races missed last month - I managed to not be able to access the spreadsheet for some bizarre reason.

I had an early start on Saturday and didn't sleep too well last night, so I haven't been out this weekend. Hopefully, I can do a couple of miles before work tomorrow as a loosener ahead of next week's marathon.

Hi all, been away from the site and running for nearly the whole year but think I may have found my running mojo again. Been doing a few dreadmill miles over the last couple of weeks and today I did my first outside run of over 4 miles since January, I'd forgotten how much I actually like running! Strange really as I was so excited about moving to Devon and what a fantastic place it would be for my running but haven't really done much since moving here two years ago! Going to take it gently and see what happens. Nice to be back here though...

hey SB glad to see you back and great you've finally found your mojo again, just take it steady and enjoy exploring the area.

Hope the mara goes ok at the weekend Phil.

I finally dragged myself out for a run on Tuesday, I took Ellie so I didnt go too far with her but we did the woods and the fells. Really lovely. So I went back to running club last night and really loved it. Hadn't been since June so it was a bit like I was the new girl again but lovely to see the people I was with when I used to go before. Loved the social side and the chattering so I won't leave it as long next time.

Another group for another year, but whether you're aiming for 500 or more or less lets just have a nice little social group to share our goals and running antics.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.

Target miles Link http://www.fetcheveryone.com/training-mileagetargets-filtered.php?category=RUN&mileage=500

to set your mileage:

Go to the Train tab

scroll down to where it says - annual mileage targets

there should be a little box to the right in red, click for run and add your mileage.

Race Planner docs.google.com

(When you go in give yourself a colour so I know you're wanting to be on the sheet so I can keep it tidy)

If you update the race planner after I've updated the header drop me an fmail or a reminder (or 2) on the thread so I know to update. Thanks
