Having become confident of achieving 400 miles this year, suddenly due to the ball of my right foot becoming very sore making walking quite uncomfortable, that target is looking a little less certain 🙁

Thanks BB. It’s still not right and have had to pull out of a 10k this weekend. Doctor already booked for Friday next week in case still no better.

Hi all great to see some updates from you and sorroive been. MIA. Sorry to hear some of you are feeling disappointed at missing target but remember it’s a target and how many of those miles would you have done without your target in sight?

For the first time in s few years I e had a good year and I set a goal of 1000km which I hit on Monday!! Super stuffed so aiming for 700 (but optimistic) but 661 would get my best ever and I should manage that.

I set myself up for a race last week and questioned my sanity and almost pulled out a 10m rod race (Brampton to Carlisle) quite a fast course it seemed on checking out results. I figured I could get round in 2hrs or just over and see myself to finish on 1.46!!! I did push myself and felt it for 3 days afterwards but so proud of myself.

I’ve started a strength programme with a trainer I’ve worked with before and absolutely loving that too.

We’ll keep up the good work and even miles counts and no disappointment allowed we are all bloody amazing!!

Well done GG, right to be proud :)

Sounds Iike you're doing right Eynsham Red, careful now! Sending some healing vibes your way, though with my track record may need them back at any moment ;-)

An easy 5k this evening to test my foot having rested from running for two weeks. Seems ok at the moment, but it’s going to be a bit of challenge to fit in fifty miles in December to get my 400.

Surpassed last years total :), unfortunately last years total was terrible :(. Can't even blame injury as i've not had anything other than the odd niggle, i continuously let work and the CBAs to get in the way. All i want for Christmas is the ability to focus.

A steady few runs recently, nothing spectacular or fast but still creeping slowly to the revised total of 100!

Another group for another year, but whether you're aiming for 500 or more or less lets just have a nice little social group to share our goals and running antics.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.

Target miles Link http://www.fetcheveryone.com/training-mileagetargets-filtered.php?category=RUN&mileage=500

to set your mileage:

Go to the Train tab

scroll down to where it says - annual mileage targets

there should be a little box to the right in red, click for run and add your mileage.

Race Planner docs.google.com

(When you go in give yourself a colour so I know you're wanting to be on the sheet so I can keep it tidy)

If you update the race planner after I've updated the header drop me an fmail or a reminder (or 2) on the thread so I know to update. Thanks
