Morning all just to say I survived. Apart from a couple of sections I loved it and even now those bits were tackled and won. Ended off being almost 2.5m extra and double advertised elevator (a question was asked on the group page and there was no one came back to say theirs was close on either) so 64.64m in 19h 36m

Would I do it again?

An ultra that distance absolutely that one not sure in good weather absolutely but in the conditions on Saturday it was brutal even seasoned ultra runners have been on the group saying how hard it was & not all ultras are like that.

Hellloooooo! Is there an echo in here or is it just me?

Have we all been scared off by GG's epic mileage. Or are you just quietly getting the miles in and not talking about it?

I did my first interval session in weeks this morning. It was nice to change things up a bit.

I ran 3x last week for the first time in ages after have 5weeks out with a horrible cold/cough(not covid unbelievably!) Hope everyone is enjoying the running in the sun.

Hahah Scribbler I hope not!! Our 500 gang are quieter than normal and I do hope all are ok.

Glad you’ve got back to intervals i so need to do that and hills training as the wall (next June) is very elevated.

I have been back running but just shorter easy runs while we’ve been away relaxing on the boat. Bit heading home now and will start to get some longer runs back in I’ve got Loch Ness marathon in October.

*EDIT* in the current situation we are not entering races but I think we can still log any plans we may have over the coming months, whether it is learning a new skill, ticking jobs off a list, moving house(!), doing alternative exercise, aiming for training hours instead of miles, writing to family & friends, finding inventive ways to be together virtually or even entering virus races please fill in the planner and I’ll update this thread and keep our little social group going to share our goals.
