Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Literally limped over the 200 mile mark this morning. Twelve mile run intended but got a very tight calf just after three, so I walked home.

Unsure as to whether I might go out for a short run next weekend ahead of the Brighton Marathon on 12 September, or just rest up. I'll see how I go.

Oh no Phil get on the foam roller and lots of gentle stretching. My calf is still playing up time to time the foam roller is definitely helping it.

Cant believe its August since we last caught up.

I know there was lots of niggles floating around, I hope they have cleared up.

How are we all? Life is a bit samey here still rushing around like a mad thing but also managing to keep on top of my training - something to do with signing up for crazy challenges. I've now added a 3 day multi even in the Lakes to my plan (1st may bank holiday) so that is keeping me out of mischief and focused.

How did Brighton go SP? (hope the calf behaved)

A bit more is good though and a target is just that something to aim for but not stress about. Are you still swimming?

Run away and come and swim in the sea with me Linds :-)

Seeing this thread revived has prompted me to check my progress and I have less than 5 miles to go!

About This Thread

Maintained by geordiegirl
*EDIT* in the current situation we are not entering races but I think we can still log any plans we may have over the coming months, whether it is learning a new skill, ticking jobs off a list, moving house(!), doing alternative exercise, aiming for training hours instead of miles, writing to family & friends, finding inventive ways to be together virtually or even entering virus races please fill in the planner and I’ll update this thread and keep our little social group going to share our goals.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.

(When you go in give yourself a colour so I know you're wanting to be on the sheet so I can keep it tidy)

If you update the race planner after I've updated the header drop me an fmail or a reminder (or 2) on the thread so I know to update. Thanks
