Thanks McG. I might re-listen to some of the ones I’ve discovered in the last couple of days and save new stuff for 2023. I shall download the (multiple) Pigs one.

I will join you, looking to listen to new stuff every week, whether that be albums released in 2023 or older stuff I missed out on.

Bought this today. I’ll listen it in the New Year once I can get my record player out

The Ray Davies song on that soundtrack is excellent. I’ve got it on 7 inch somewhere (also worth watching the sequence from the film as well).

Would it be in the spirit of the thread to mix in some of a bid to complete the "album for every year of your life" that I still have the best part of half a century to explore?

I have never been a big music listener but feel I have missed out on something in my 55 years.
My wife got a Sonos for her birthday a couple of years back and it’s largely been unused.
On Christmas Day I listen to music on one of the music channels while preparing Christmas dinner. This year I hooked up Spotify to the Sonos system and have now been listening to daily mixes and random stuff from my youth in the 70s and 80s. This is easier being off work as I have time on my hands.
I don’t really have. A musical taste but some things I like others I don’t. I might be interested to widen things out but really have no idea where to even start

Badger - I think everyone ought to be able to play by their own rules so ... fill your boots!
Baz - there are some great suggestions on Joopsy's Albums of 2022 thread (linked in the side bar) and I've atsrated adding people's other suggestions there as well. Maybe start with those?
