No new beers yet (well, it's not even 10 am ;-) but that reminded me that the local CAMRA branch used to organise a "Mild Trail by Rail" between Dunblane and Linlithgow, with up to thirteen pubs near six stations involved. No news this year*, this was something about the last one, from the place I visited yesterday. allanwaterbrewhouse.co.uk

Seems Stockport also has similar, maybe OS has travelled it? And it is live for this year :-) ssmcamra.co.uk

*In fact there is very little from the Forth Valley CAMRA currently, and their FB page is defunct :-(

Amazingly I had a pint of mild in one of the participating pubs a coupleof weeks ago,and said, at the time, why have all the pubs got mild in at the moment. Now I know.

#49 Ægir Sumbel Porter - 4.70%. Jolly nice.
(drum roll please)
#50 Niklas Esktedt/Two Tribes Grilla Hazy Pale Ale - 5%. Ok, I guess.

On reflection, I should have done those two in reverse order...

I see I last posted an update here at Easter weekend. These four are the ones I know are definitely 'different' to those already on my list since then.
Cask/Draught
pint 37 Mauldon's Cuckoo 4.2%
pint 38 Green Jack - Golden Best 3.8%
pint 39 Crouch Vale - Essex Boys 3.8%
pint 40 Grain - Blackwood Stout 4.5%

Essex Boys only made the list because the pub in question didn't have any Brewer's Gold! Need to go and rummage through the recycling box now to see if there are any different bottles or cans in there now!

Crikey - just noticed I'd listed Siren's Broken Dream on my Bottles and Cans list twice (well it is 6.5%)
So the new number 30 on that list is Robinson's Queen's Tipple

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
