I'm a bit behind. Adding Pretty Juicy, Coconut Moose (Fierce), Citrus IPA (Beinn - another Lidl one), Brevet saison (6°N), Gulden Draak (Lidl Belgian box. I'm sure I've missed two or three.

I currently have around forty different beers in the house - it may have been as many as fifty! In the coming week, however, I foresee mainly Mythos, with the odd Alfa.

Reporting in from watching football in the pub on Friday and a trip to a beer festival yesterday!
pint 43 Timothy Taylor - Landlord
pint 44 Abbeydale - Dr Morton's Proper Gander 4.1%
pint 45 Abbeydale - Hopback 4.2%
pint 46 Colchester - Metropolis 3.9%

Getting close to the 50 on the draught/cask list now - will hopefully get something good for number 50 although I will probably carry on and see how many different beers in 2022 I can record.

Not sure I'll continue recording all the bottles/cans when I get to 50 of those though (still another 18 to go on that list.)

A productive few days (apart from the impact a good few of these had on the rather bleary eyed parkrun 😉)

All cask.

32. Lavender Honey (Wolf Brewery) 3.8% - Honey Beer
33. Volt (Woodforde's) 4.5% - Premium IPA
34. Straw Dog (Wolf Brewery) 4.5% - Wheat Beer
36. Monkey Wrench (Daleside) 5.3% - Strong Ale
37. Nelson's (Woodforde's) 4.5% - Bitter
38. Golden Jackal (Wolf Brewery) 3.7% - Golden Ale
39. Cocow (Ampersand Brew Co.) 4.8% - Chocolate & Milk stout
40. Flagondry (Woodforde's) 3.6% - IPA
41. Pier City Pale (George's) 4.1% - Pale Ale
42. Citra [single hop series] (Ampersand) 4.3% - Pale Ale
43. Nog (Woodforde's) 4.6% - Dark Ale
44. Salvation! (One Mile End) 4.4% - Pale Ale
45. Juice Rocket (Three Blind Mice) 4.5% - IPA
46. Wild Stallion (Wild Craft Brewing) 5.0% - Stout
47. Mosaic [Gluten Free] (Arbor) 4.0% - Pale Ale
48. Wolf in Sheep's Clothing 3.7% - Mild

All new to me except #36 which was the first time I've come across it since being on Untappd (2013). Plus a couple of pints of Woodforde's Wherry / Bure Gold into the mix as well.

Standouts: 33, 38, 39, 48

Paolo peach ipa brewed by Williams bros of Alloa. I quite like this. Certainly not bad for £1

Have you been on holiday in Norfolk Weath? Which parkrun was it?

I'm familiar with a good few of those and certainly agree with your standout choices - especially 39

It's great when you can tell where someone has been through their drinking habits isn't is , BaronessBL? 😁.

Yes, Norfolk it was. A couple of nights in Norwich followed by a quick jaunt over to Gorleston for their parkrun. Only my second time visiting Norwich (briefly visited in the 90s for football) and really enjoyed it.

There are some good pubs in Norwich. Did you visit the Artichoke - it's one that has been recommended to me but I have yet to manage to get there.

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
