49. (draught) Bath Ales Cheshire Cat (4.0%). Very tasty, but as with almost all Bath Ales there's something to the finish I'm not a huge fan of.
42. (bottle) Inedit Damm (4.8%). A Spanish take on wheat beer (malt AND wheat), this was very nice, similar to Hoegaarden but maybe slightly nicer.

2 new lo/no alcohol beers this weekend past. Doom Bar 0.0 and Shipyard Low Tide (0.5). The Low Tide is a light American pale ale and is quite nice and refreshing. The Doom Bar was horrid; reminded me of one of my early attempts at homebrew (actually, I don’t think I’ve made anything quite as foul). Very “malty” with a weird after-taste. Reminiscent of the metallic tang you used to get with Tinners ales.

Doom Bar is a very, very average beer in any form these days, much like Tribute. I avoid both.

I agree with you totally on those two Angus. I don't mind the Low Tide but the Doom Bar is not nice at all.

54. De Molen "Op & Top" Pale Ale 4.50% - pleasant enough.
55. Moersleutel "Daily Grind" Coffee Stout 6% - you can shut the gate on this one. It's the absolute duck's guts.

About This Thread

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
