Tis the season to be Legless
right then, I am claiming all the time spent sitting in various halls around the country watching 'Spawn' fighting as XT-other, and don't get me started on the time spent driving him the length and breadth of the country ;-)

Next year his is gonna be fighting for team GB, so that's gonna been international travel as well........I could claim bucket loads of hours for that lot, what with Ferry crossing, plane rides etc etc

On a serious note, I think it has been expressed on here before, these are 'our' targets, so it's up to each individual what they feel is log worthy and I for one wont be judging what others log, I claim my micro commute to work and back every day, it's only 5 miles and about 18-20 mins on the bike, some I know might not class that as training, but as I said, each to their own.

Lol, you're right, can claim whatever you want. But might need to make it a bit clearer on a thread title or header that X-Train - Bugger All counts?! ;-)

Right I'm off for some X-Train - High Street Christmas Melee - that definitely counts! :-)G

Lol.

I will only, as ever, log what I count as training.

That's when I do something with the intention of it being 'training'.

I never log my walks to and from the shops with the weekly shop in a trolley etc cos its just life not 'me time' structured to improve fitness or skill/ability etc.

I'm pleased with how much I've done this year and my training mono has def been more intact when regularly updating on here.

Next year I will make my 300hrs with counting spectating etc.

The Scribbler
A weights session and a swim tonight for me. Helps make up some time while my usual training is light as classes are taking a Christmas break and I'm being cautious about how much I run. Feels good to be physically tired and ready for zzzzzz

Cmon Foxy :-)

Thanks to the concept, the thread, :-)G and Legless for keeping me going. After my broken arm in the summer I have never quite got back in any individual discipline, but this has given me a target, and having fallen behind, something to push at. I think it is in reach :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Legless
A thread for those feeling left out by all the "1000 miles in 2011" threads etc Let's track Hours instead of Miles!

WHATEVER YOU CLASS AS 'TRAINING' COUNTS AS TRAINING.

To get your name in lights here on the thread header, please join the group, then keep a note of your target and progress in there. I'll copy it in here periodically!

Hour targets...
Target . . . Aug ... Sept ....... Oct ..........Nov
% . . . 66.6% ... 74.8% ...... 83.3% .....91.8%
200 . . . 133.2 ... 149.6 ....... 166.6 ......183.6
250 . . . 166.5 ... 187.0 ...... 208.25 ......229.5
300 . . . 199.8 ... 224.4 ....... 249.9 ..... 275.4
365 . . . 243.1 ... 273.02 ..... 304.0 ...... 335.1
400 . . . 266.4 ... 299.2 ...... 333.2 ..... 367.2
500 . . . 333.0 ... 374.0 ....... 416.5 ..... 459.0

Remember, you can set your own target. Doesn't have to be 365 hours. Doesn't even have to be annual. Could be, "I will do 20 hours training in March." or "I will average 3 hours a week for the next 3 months." or "I will do 150 hours for the rest of the year." or whatever. You decide it, plan it, state it, then let's all go do it!!
