Going to give this a go.... 1105 miles in 2016, which was my highest mileage year to date. In 2017 I have 2 ultras booked so I want to increase my mileage so this seems like a decent target.
Please can my races be added to the list?
January: Doynton Hard Half Marathon March: The Grizzly April: Vale Coastal Ultra May: Stroud Trails Marathon June: Welsh Castles Relay October: Limestone Way Ultra November: Sodbury Slog Thanks and looking forward to the chat and motivation over the year!

Jono.
good afternoon - continued with the tradition of going to bed before midnight, thanks to sparkly wine I didn't wake up to the sound of the fire works at midnight, apparently Mrs J and J Jnr did.
20 miles on the new racing bike - 20 miles 8 minutes quicker than on the mountain bike.
mileage targets set for 2017, I'll see how I get on.

Happy New Year, Everybody! Hello and welcome to any new peeps giving 1500 a go, always remembering it's an aspiration rather than a requirement. Some interesting races already appearing over there! > > > Not seeing much overlap yet though, for monkey swapping opportunities. (We have a mascot, Funky Monkey, which we try to hand around the group when we meet at races to see how far we can make him travel.)
Did the double parkrun thing this morning with OH - it's handy having 2 parkruns in the same city, you don't have to go far to the second one. Quite a few people ran between the 2, but OH's dodgy hamstring must be handled with caution, so we drove.
It bucketed down for both, getting noticeably chillier as the morning went on. The second one had bits that were very, very muddy, it was like a cross country run in places.
We have now had a Full English Breakfast for lunch, cooked by DD2. It was excellent.
Best wishes for the coming year, all, hope we all stay injury-free and running well.

Happy 2017 everybody 🍾🍾🍾
I've just returned home after a rather bubbly black tie do and am debating the best time to get out there for today's run and finally hit that elusive 14,000! Hopefully the rain will stop at some time today

Happy New Year everyone! Skipped the celebrations last night and opted for an early night due to a cold/cough/general crappiness.
Probably shouldn't have ran this morning, but I am off the mark for the year. 15 miles done including two parkruns. Left a little later than intended so was forced to run a little faster than I really wanted to in order to make the parkrun starts!
