Morning all.

Hope the last of the illnesses and hangovers are abating.

Looking a bit icy out there .... I'll go and find out in a bit.

We all live and learn... or not.

Was very slippery, not much of a run but did squish my bug

Yesterday I ran for the 1st time in 12 weeks :-). Very slow and short (11m10s pace for only 3 miles) and very cautiously checking myself for any chest problems. There were none, so I'll have to see how further runs turn out.

I walked to the newsagents this morning and it was very slippery even on the High St. road, so it's just as well I'm not due to run today. I was supposed to go for a cycle ride later, so I'll have to wait and see if it thaws sufficiently to ride safely.

Hooray, Flatlander! Take care out there people.

Very icy here too, but a running rest day. Off to the cinema this afternoon to see the new Star Wars film. Haven't been to the pictures for years!

Veg soup for tea, to use up some of the weekend's leftovers.

Morning boys and girls. I might be tempting fate but I'm in for 1500 in 2017. 2016 was a tough year for a variety of reasons resulting in my lowest mileage since 2009. It's ended on much more of a high note, though, and I reckon I'm ready for a good 2017. Keeping everything crossed.

9 miles done in beautiful running conditions. Coughing up yucky stuff which is annoying.

Hi Garfield! It's a bit frosty out there this morning and I'm seeing a forecast that it's going to be colder tonight! I hope all of you with coughs and lurgies get well soon.

I'm having a day off running today having just done 9 consecutive days of either running or biking or both over the Xmas break. Back on it tomorrow, though.
