Well done everyone who's run today, especially everyone who's done a double parkrun.

Did a parkrun double this morning - both were wet and windy, but the second more so as it's by the sea. Then home for a quick change and dry off before a 5 mile race at lunchtime (also wet and windy). Took the two parkruns easy, very pleased with my 5 mile time, and Mr J also had a good race (he very sensibly didn't parkrun).

Fish and chips and prosecco for dinner after an alcohol-free night last night.

Stu, hope you're recovering from your cold now.

Gosh, you packed in a lot jenny! well done to you :-)

Welcome to all the new followers, delighted to have you here, banter is more important than miles ;-)

We double parkrunned and did an extra 5+ bug squishing etc, had lunch and now back home from a 2 hour drive in the pouring rain, need to catch up with all the washing so will leave updating races until tomorrow.

mr d
1402 last year aiming for 1500 this, will have a late start though as I have sore throat etc, feel better this evening.

Even the thought of cycling to work on Tuesday when it's forecast to be 0 is not something I am looking forward to.

I have entered the Tarpley 20 in Feb and the Manchester marathon in April if someone could add me please.

If you are really desperate I can do the December round up, cheers.

That's some running day Jenny.

Mine was the exact opposite. Too hungover to run so first run of the year tomorrow.

morning, wobbled my way through 10k - the cold breeze seemed to be a sign of the emptiness that is January.
