Love the dogs Doc In other news, we were awoken at 5am this morning by a naked man shouting in the street wanting his Mam and punching car windows in. Good job my car was collected last week due to my lack of a license. Then at 8:30 a policeman knocked on the door asking if we had heard anything. The policeman was only about 12 years old. He explained the chap was now arrested and had been on vodka and cocaine. Just a normal day in a normal street

Neller, your legs will never trust you again if you lie to them this time.
Another early run for me this morning. 10.5 miles, the furthest I've run since 11 miles on 16th April, over 6 months ago :-). That brought my weekly mileage up to 25.9, the highest since the beginning of May, over 5 months previously, and my 7th consecutive 20+ week :-).
It helps having had no new health problems for the last few months (so far) ;-):-).
Even so, the Fetch Mileage Goal display shows that I've completed only 702 miles this year, and to catch up I've got to run 80mpw for the rest of the year :-o! No chance! I won't even make 1,000 let alone 1,500 ;-).

I told them we were just going to do 12, Flatlander, then just did 12. It seemed less likely to cause offence.
Anyway, mileage targets aren't really the importantest thing. The most importantest thing is edukayshun, surely?
Nice dogs. Your dogbasket needs a balcony.
Neilio, I'm sorry about that, mate. It was a rough day.;-)

Congratulations to JK.
We had a lad talking lifting the lid on wheelie bins and talking into them like a telephone. I guess heโd been in spice.
I weighed myself after the holiday and have a little phat tummy.
We still have windness.

Not the sort of excitement you need Neilio! At least you didnโt have a car to be vandalised
Glad the recipe was a success JK, I need to start experimenting more with recipes from some of the trillion cook books I have.
Well done Mrs Nellers for yesterday, and for your compromise arrangement with your legs today Nellers.
Iโve just (well, not just, earlier today) ran my slowest marathon. Started struggling from around 15 miles, it was thoroughly unpleasant. Wasnโt fully prepared and really shouldnโt have done it. Hope Stu got on okay today.

Sorry your race didn't go too well, jennyh. We started doing the Vegetarian Saturday and Posh Fish Wednesday thing because we felt we were getting very boring in our eating habits and always having the same things.
I have packaged up some knitted baby things for new great-niece to send off tomorrow. I have a large carrier bag full of yarn, so I will be knitting tons of stuff - I am enjoying this aspect of great-aunt-hood immensely.
Chicken and cider casserole with herb dumplings for tea. DD2 has made it for us, should be delish as she is an excellent cook (and baker too).
