Berlin is lovely, but the cold war museums are disturbing. Super mara WW! Intervals for me this am. I learned that dogs skulls are very hard! One stepped into my path at the last second and I caught my ankle as i tried to hurdle it... flipping hurt... super miles Jenny!

I concur dog skulls are very hard. A collision with an unseen dog was the cause of my injury earlier this year.

Hi there, we got back from Berlin last night and I'm working today. I didn't run in the end...was still feeling very flat on Satuday and Sunday. Yesterday was my first day of feeling nearly normal and I'm feeling much better today. If I'd run, I would have been sick for the next week or so. Get well soon WW...shame I didn't know where you and Fizz were or we could all have met up at some point...as we were staying about a 15 minute tram ride from Alexanderplatz.

Jono.
I would not visit the cold war museums - but devote a lot of time to sausage eating and the odd beer.

hope you recover quickly G

I like Berlin, it's one of my favourite cities. OH loves it too, mainly because he loves spy stories, and thought it was brilliant to wander around all the places that get mentioned in the books.

Hope the poorlies get well soon.

I have been to the physio and had my sore heel ultrasounded, electrically zapped, massaged, taped. I've been given a load of exercises, stretches and rollings to do and worst of all, told not to run for few days. If all this works, hopefully there will be running again before too long. But in the meantime, there will probably be grumpiness. At least there is always cake and chocolate.

physio and home work...that definately needs chocolate.

My dog has had the end of her toe removed today, she is hoping she will be allowed to run again soon too.

The first time we went to Berlin, we went to the Stasi museum. After reading a lot of spy books, it was interesting to go there...in east Berlin in a rather innocuous looking residential area.

Mr J and I like Berlin. Lots of interesting places, including the museums, and definitely worth partaking of the beer and sossidges.

Shame that you couldn't run Garfield, hope you feel better now. Not sure if we went to the Stasi museum in Berlin, but we went to the one in Leipzig (they made us hand over our passports in exchange for the English audio translator).

Hope your ankle isn't feeling too sore now Richard, and JK hope all the zapping and exercises help and you're back running soon.

We're at our in laws before heading to Clevedon. I can understand why Mr J doesn't visit very often.
