Enjoy your running today, everyone, hope it goes well for you all.

I am at Nottingham, but as a designated driver. Not running due to a serious attack of being sensible as my left heel is just not up to grinding out 26.2 miles. So no marathon today. I am sad but I will be eating a lot of consolation chocolate, and possibly cake too.

Good luck to everyone racing today!

Sorry to hear that JK, hope you recover quickly - I'm sure chocolate will aid the healing process :-)

Doing the Swansea 10K later, which isn't until 1pm - far too much time for pre-race nerves for my liking.

Have good 10k Jenny, JK hope your heel heals! Tough decision... 18 hilly off road miles for me today - such a lovely sunny morning. The only concern was yesterday I caught my little toe on the bathroom door - which always hurts - but this time the toe went almost black a swollen... was hobbling till yesterday pm... but couple of Anadin and a descision to MTFU seemed reasonable to me at 6:30, although my SO said otherwise... anyway 'tis done and was OK :)

Went to support a local 10km today. Damn brutal course.

2nd in 38.20.

Course worth about 2 mins I think.

Ipswich half and post race beers completed. Nice scenic course with some hills. It was hot but I've enjoyed it.

Now for the journey home .... starting with rail replacement bus

No reports to the contrary yet. Though eldest did report difficulty cutting straight slices of bread ( he assures me there was no blood)

Well Doc and Gobi. Great runs Jono and Richard M-1. Hope your heel is better soon JK.
Still no running from me, still lurgified. Hopefully may get out for a run in the next couple of days. I suppose it's meant the legs have definitely rested after the marathon.
