Here are my targets for next year. Apologies there is so much waffle...

1. To complete a structured training schedule to be able to complete the twenty mile run for the Ashby Twenty race on March 20th, 2022.
2. To complete a structured training schedule to be able to complete a marathon distance run at Chester on October 2nd, 2022.
3. To complete half marathon number 50 before the end of 2022.
4. To gradually increase the weight I deadlift so I am lifting the equivalent of my bodyweight by the end of July 2022. [That’s about 59kgs]
5. To keep attempting pull ups so that I might be able to do three pull ups without resistance bands by the end of 2022.
6. And finally, to make a donation to the local food bank before the end of January 2022.

Exercises to be done tomorrow.

I've got a little bit behind. I've missed days 4,5 and 6. How many of each thing do I need to do to catch up? I'm absolutely shattered and a simple calculation is a bit beyond me at present! And is it OK to add the extras to different days rather than doing them all today?

If you are shattered, I wouldn't do them all at once! I feel virtuous for my 6 targets and, being tired and achey, I have decided to skip the rest today. I will do a little extra each day to catch up now.

Merry Fizzmas :-)
I confess, I have also not done the exercises today.

I have set my targets though.

My targets are basically lose weight, eat less, run a bit more. But they’re
a) not six of them
And b) not “SMART”

So I’ll go for:
1. Go for a walk at lunchtime at least twice a week.
2. Run more miles in 2022 than 2021 (not difficult!)
3. Lose 4kg before Easter (and keep it off!)
4. Complete the 12 days of Fetchmas at least once a week (maybe alternate with the 2020 version)
5. Not run a new PW at the Belvoir Half marathon in April
6. Grow more cosmos

WW, maybe do two sessions a day, morning and evening, until you can catch up?

I discovered this year that when you think you have sown enough cosmos, sow some more :-)

Turning part of my front garden into a cosmos plantation is on my list for next year too after some of the displays I've seen this year :)

I didn't sow any this year. Well, not for myself. I did for clients and got a few spare plants us the pickings in a client's cutting garden after they went to London. It kept flowering spectacularly until only a few weeks ago!
