From that video, it looks an awful lot like the old Ultrafit or Xtraining challenges (of which Hywel Davies was a multi-champion) only scaled for more normal folk. Interesting!
I dont remember those events, Oranj, but they market it as a fitness challenge that anyone can have a go at. Of course, if you want to be quick/competitive then you need to be really really fit but pretty much anyone that can run a 10k could get through a Hyrox given time.
The plan for Mac and myself is to do a doubles event where we share the work in the various activities and run the 1km bits together.
Reading about it it seems you can plan it so that one person can do the greater part of an activity, but effectively you both have to do all of them, meaning I'm going to have to learn what a burpee broad jump is
