Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A tough 11 miles today, we had more snow last night. The pavements round town haven’t been cleared so it’s awful to walk on never mind run. The folk on skis smoothed out the lower trails so was fine. The temperature is set to rise so should melt this coming week.

Looking forward to the warmer week ahead.

Lots of miles for you too Evangel despite the bitter days we've had, no way am I up to that.
Roll on the huge temperature rise that's forecast.

Can see some grass today but still gale force wind. Main road was closed overnight due to uncontrollable drifting.

Cold 9.5 miles done today. Out of the breeze it was fine but good run to catch up with my running buddy.

Steve, for me it's just a case of routine. I run pre-determined mileage on specific days, but time of day varies according to weather, as I don't enjoy running in the wet and the muddy conditions! I had already decided to stick with weekly mileage of 27-28mls, increasing a little as I work towards running a HM distance, before cutting back and sharpening up my speed a little.

Dobbers well done on your 'cold 9.5'.

Started sneezing yesterday afternoon, so decided to take a rest day today. Hopefully will run tomorrow.
