Also wishing you a speedy recovery @geordiegirl!

Didn't manage any running over the weekend but went to my second ever track session (First proper one really) today and then ran home (8k). Now 17k behind plan but may finally catch up this week.

Welcome back @Wabo and hope you’re feeling better now.

Thanks @EdGreig I’m behaving and prioritising recovery, just feel guilty being off work for a ‘bad’ foot.

You're really going for it Peter, really good to see you back in the groove.
Well done on the track session EdG with a run home again afterwards. I've never done any track work and never will now! It's supposed to give good results re speed.
Welcome to the thread Wabo, hope you're feeling ok soon.
What a chance to enjoy other things gg! Maybe not the best way to take a break from running but nevertheless I'm sure you'll come back fresher and stronger. You'll miss the grim end of winter too!
3.2 miles with torey along trails . Nice to have watched a Kingfisher perched above the river and an excuse to stop!

@EdGreig well done for your second track session. Track running is definitely the way to go. I joined Team Solent when I was 40 and trained on the track twice a week. This is how I was able to race with WAVAS in the high 70's and occasional low 80%
