Thanks Steve and well done for this mornings 4.1 miles. Well done Peter for this mornings 10.5 miles. I think that you have your eyes on 1,500 miles this year. This morning was another 8 miler, this time with Giuliana and much quicker than yesterday, which was a solo run on a slightly different course. I'm making up for my very poor start to the year, by running 23.5 miles in 3 days. Tomorrow will be the usual Tuesday Farmers Walk. I had to buy a new kettle this morning, as the old one had 'given up the ghost 👻.' Whilst in the store, I bought the 'Easy Air Fryer Recipe Book.' |

Our Calor gas cooker oven was only managing 160⁰C for gas mark 9. That cooker was not a good buy and we now have solar panels. New cooker ordered (Stoves Richmond Deluxe EI). Not one of our must have features but it has an integrated air fryer function! No plans on 1500 and only managed 750 last year. Last time I got over 1000 was 2020 so I'll just see how this year comes. However very pleased with my mileage so far. As stated before less pleased with pace: if it came to hours on feet, I'd beat @Mrsbridgewater hands down! |

We had a calor gas oven when we moved in. We have since had gas to the house so have an oven that gets properly hot now. Well done for your cold run this morning Peter - I resorted to the treadmill again. |

Nice to see you all getting the miles in. Well done. On shoes I have some with lots of miles in them, I only replace when they are falling to bits or causing discomfort. I have that many pairs on rotation it’s only fetch that keeps check on them So life from the sofa. The foot is feeling ok, dropped the big meds so taking that as a big positive but reminding myself there a lot of healing before I’m done. Feeling guilty being of work but being kept in check by you fetchies. I am still feeling very tired. Keep running and I’ll keep my eye on your progress. |

I have only resorted to the treadmill recently in order to force pace but hate it. Have only managed up to 3 miles and that's a struggle. So hats off to you @Mrsbridgewater

Good to hear from you GG. What’s next as in when do you go back for a check etc? Please stop fretting about work. It’s only work and it’s not important. Relax and concentrate on getting better xx |

Wishing you a speedy recovery, GG. Hope you can enjoy the time off the feet and on the couch. Sounds like an opportunity to read a good book or two! Take care. |
