Sorry to hear you’re poorly Lesley new shoes will def help. Got out for a run after putting the decorations away. Some good miles to start the month but def lots of time left. And forgot to say earlier 6.5 is a brilliant run for you Steve! |

I think new shoes are a great idea Lesley! Hope you're out christening them soon. Good screen shot Peter...it didn't last long with us both being up there🤣 Already looking difficult here with minus 1c this early evening and undoubtedly slippery pavements so my position will be slipping downwards 🤣 Obviously it is sheer luck I'm up there and don't/ can't expect to be above most targetters for long. Thanks gg, sunny days and a relaxing pre outing are perfect combinations. |

Best wishes Lesley and LL, get well soon 😊 Well done Peter, a great start to the new year! Take care Steve if walk/running on icy pavements. Well below freezing here, with icy pavements and windscreens. Thankfully, I keep my car the garage, so ice free this morning. The garage rep has driven it off for its MoT and service. He advised that the water pipes were frozen, so they might not be able to wash it. The usual Friday Farmers Walk this morning, but on icy pavements. I'm wondering if any parkruns will be cancelled tomorrow, as it is forecast to be minus 5 degrees. |

Luckily the pavements were more frosty than icy this morning but some ice here and there so was ultra careful hs, thanks. Minus 3c was really too uncomfortable for me, run/walking doesn't heat me up enough but did 5k on advance of nasty weekend weather forecast . It was only just light when I got to the trail and it was odd to see a bloke sitting on a bench at that chilly hour... alongside his cycle. Hope the car passed the MOT hs. Glorious sunshine now at midday and probably much nicer for exercising in. |
