If you're in good shape those last handful of miles should be ok to click off Cheeky's D. Exciting end to the year!
I'm in a cba frame of mind and not bothered about doing many miles---once I hit the target I relaxed too much! It was blowing and drizzling and obviously dark early this morning, good luck to park runners if it deteriorates further. But it's the Solstice (9.21 am to be precise 😂) and after next mid week we get a minute or two extra daylight time creeping in! Thank goodness.

Did you not run/walk this morning Steve?

Just as well I didn't parkrun this morning, as I felt a sharp pain in the front of my right knee whilst pushing up a hill. I walked to the top, and then jogged the rest of the way home. Total 4.12 miles on roads.

It was one of my running friends 66th birthday today. Her WAVA is consistently in the 80%'s, so should be even higher now!

Yeah, did a run/walk hs in the horrible weather! Ouch to that sudden pain, hope it was only a response to the hill and is ok now. What an amazing WAVA mark for your friend.

Good luck to those working hard to hit this target. Keep the faith.

I've 15.3 miles to add made up of one road run, two treadmill sessions and park run this morning. Windy, muddy and I've a bit of a cold but glad I did it.

Good running team sorry to hear about the knee hs hope it’s not too problematic.

I’ve totally lost the plot running wise, I have had a hectic social life this week on top of a manic work load and trying to get Christmas ready. The wind and rain are not helping me at all.

I’ll hopefully add a few more miles before the end of the year.

Bloomin’ windy out there tonight! Nice running with it at your back. Into the wind less so. Did what I wanted to do but it was not fast

Festive Flier
I've just looked at the weather for tomorrow, my interest in running tomorrow morning has just bombed. Very windy and icy is the local forecast. I'll see what I feel like doing in the morning as usual.
