Def check out the Berkeley it’s a fab race and I only missed this hear due to Covid I have a space for next year.

Hope to see you at Meriden - that said you probably won’t miss us we’ll all be in reflective skorts and Fetch himself is there too so should be a great fetch meet!

Donnie, congrats on the Yorkshire Marathon. Epic effort. You must know every part of that course by now.

Glad to hear your calf has mended, MrHSC.

Good luck with the race, GG. Sounds epic.

I need to read back through the posts as I am struggling to keep up.

10km this morning to work. Non eventful. A few drops of rain and a cool breeze the only things to report.

Great to note that you're enjoying your runs FF, good distance too. I doubt I'll catch you on the leaderboard with my lowly miles😂.
Glad you're clearly feeling back to where you want to be hs and that the Farmers Walk hasn't been interrupted. Seems you need a map of the new floor layout in that supermarket!
Good training over 5k and in the water MrHSc.
Your 10k work commute is definitely a useful routine JackFW. You must be one of the fittest guys in the company!
Only 2.7 miles early this morning, mist hanging in a lot of places but not along my road route.

We don’t get a lot of mist down here, Steve, but I love when it hangs over the city as it’s a bit of a novelty. Well done on the 2.7 miles. Enjoy the rest of your day

Well done FF for 7 your miles.

It's good to hear MrHSc, that your 5k jog didn't cause any problems.

Well done JackFW for yet another 10k on the way to work. You are certainly racking up the miles/k's.

Thanks Steve, the supermarket has handed out 'an idiots guide' listing the items in each isle. A good idea, but they are still moving products around.

Well done for this mornings 2.7 miles.

This morning was 4.73 miles with the Wednesday Group, including 5 minutes on each of the 3 hills at Ipley Crossroads, concluding with a 20 metre sprint on the gravel track after the last effort.

500 for 2024 done.
Happy with that as had spinal op on 30th April with 4 months of doing not a lot.
No ambitions to get 1000 this year but should hit over 700.

Fabulous to be back doing miles Peter, it was a long period when you didn't know exactly what the issue was and couldn't run. 500 miles is splendid!

The customers in your local supermarket hs must be well fed up with the so-called improvements being made. We all know that where products are placed in supermarkets is strategically managed to ensure more sales.
Good proper session over your 4.73 miles.
4.2 miles on roads today for me. Dry and fairly mild with no wind.

Wow, that's a great comeback Peter, and hopefully you will be able to maintain your progress.

You are right Steve, the objective of the supermarket rearrangements is to boost sales. They have also introduced many more self scanning units, reducing the number of staff.

Thanks for your comments re yesterday's hill reps session, it's one of our favourites.

Well done for this mornings 4.2 miles on roads.

This morning was a solo hilly 5 miles on roads. Nice and sunny 🌞 and no wind or rain.
