Some good running been happening. We had lunch at our son and d-i-l's house today so I was up early and managed 11 miles beforehand. Well done for finding your way back GG, like the others I'm looking forward to your race report.

A mere 5k on dark roads this morning. But hey, it didn't rain at all!
Enjoyed the European Cross Country Championship races on telly yesterday. Good GB results although the senior men didn't do as well as those in other categories.

Hope you feel better soon Pix, take care 🤗.
Well done on your 11 miles FF.
A mere 5k is good Steve, well done.
I went out to run/walk 6 miles but my HR was all over the place so did my 4 mile route instead which was very muddy 😁.

Thanks Steve and JJ. Another 10 miles this morning to avoid tomorrow's potential weather. Well done for your 5k Steve. GWS EP. Well done JJ, I hope your HR settles soon and your shoes come clean.

Well done everyone, great running, run/walking going on!
Well done FF for your 11 and 10 miles runs.
Well done Steve for this mornings 5k.
I enjoyed the European cross country too. Its amazing how the leaders seem to be running so easily, whereas the tail enders seem to be working so hard, and with higher cadence.
EP, I'm sorry to hear that you are not feeling too well, and hope that you soon feel better. Take it easy 😊
Well done JJ for your muddy 4 miles. I hope that your hr soon stabilises.😊
This morning was bright and sunny and ideal for running. I ran 8.8 miles in the forest with the Monday Group, which was very wet and muddy, and in some parts we had to wade through deepish water. I'm glad that I decided to wear my trail shoes.

When you're bored I've done my bloggage.
Great muddy running hs, at least the puddles will have cleaned your shoes somewhat
Fab mileages FF, and jaks hope all settles soon. And no mere in 5k Steve!
I had to go to the post office at lunch so I plodded down and back, kind of a weighted run as one parcel had to go by InPost so that is now tonight's job.

I liked the blog gg and commented there. 23 miles is a "long run"!! Yeah, lots of mud in those xCountry races hs, an altogether different event to some years when it's been firm/dry.. Good forest running and your 8.8 miles right up there in the wet and soggy ranking. Only did 2.6 early this morning because of morning commitments. Now I've done 700 miles I've lost the urge to push for more anyway. That's how targets affect me!
