Thanks Lesley, 702 miles so far is better than I anticipated during the early part of the year .
That was a great 12.5 there, well done on putting in regular double figure distance runs. Wet up there, wet down here! Trails here were saturated, 5.3 miles before it started raining yet again. Did a lot of picking up fallen branches and twigs along the route, no-one else seems to bother but these mini obstacles can interrupt the flow of a run (even walk/run as in my case) and cause trips quite easily.

Well done Lesley on your mileage.
Congratulations Steve on getting past the 700 mile mark on your run today I’ve also been moving/dragging/picking up branches of all sizes off the trails through the woods today on my run. It was dry for the first and last mile but I got drenched during the middle 4 miles. Still better than trying to run on the ice 😁

Well done Steve for your 5.3 miles this morning on soggy trails.
Well done JJ for this mornings 6 miles.
I ran a solo hilly road 10k this morning, which included a 1 mile long hill. I felt really good, running relaxed. I think that I must have shaken off the after effects from my cold.
I'm watching the European cross country on the BBC Red button.

gg is heading south near Cranlington. Every participant seems to have chosen the right direction. Still quite a way to go, hope the weather is fair.

I doesn’t work for me either Jaks. Thanks for the updates Steve. Well done everyone some great running.
Lesley are you training for something? Congrats Steve. Well done Jaks glad you’re recovered. Another solid run HS also glad you’re better. 8 for me at the targeted pace. The hills here. After battling up the first 2 miles I thought I’d found a flat stretch but it was down hill and all the while I was enjoying running down I was dreading coming back up.
It was tough in strong winds but ✅ I really hope ( Steve) my heart wasn’t as high as my Garmin says as it’s supposed to be easy pace.

Your average bpm at 169 was a bit high LL but as you and others seem to function ok at such rates and go by perceived effort you did well to sustain that anyway. I can't remember, do you use a chest strap monitor? Whatever, great running on serious hills.
