Thanks Lesley.

Well done for doing 5k on the rower and some strength work.

I hope that you will be able to get out for a run today.

That's the chill over down here! Back to damp, wind but 6c. Three road miles in the dark weren't very stimulating, rather do trails away from traffic which is busy even at 6.30am.
Excellent return FF! And the usual decent distance too, hope the cba might just have been weather induced.
Hills again LL. Well done, they'll serve you well!
Not much joy weather wise for you Lesley so good thing you can put in sessions on the rower. Hopefully better days soon.
Your structured training shows quite a commitment hs, you seldom miss an interval session and it shows in the times you achieve.

Thanks Steve, our running crew have a fairly tight training schedule; Monday is a longish run of various distances, Wednesday is intervals or hills on alternate weeks and Saturdays parkruns. Tuesdays and Fridays are Farmers Walks. I usually run solo on Thursdays and Sundays at recovery pace.

I'm having a post birthday pub lunch today with "the crew." I'm not driving, so will be able to have a beer or two 🍻

Enjoy your lunch HS.

Well done on your run Steve.

It was very windy on my run this morning, so glad I went when I did as it’s now chucking it down.

Great that you're able to be running ok again JJ! You're fortunate that unlike me COVID hasn't compromised your running. At least that's what's suspected with me two years on from having it.
Cheers to the beers hs!

Well done getting out today Steve and Jaks. Enjoy your celebrations HS.

I managed to get out at lunchtime. The ice has almost gone as quick as it arrived. It was pouring though and quite windy, I got soaked. 6 miles done đź‘Ť.

Well done Lesley, nice mileage.

I’ve been keeping an eye on my HRV and RHR Steve and only running slowly so I don’t get out of breath. I’m really scared of getting LC.

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes. We had a very nice lunch and catch up.

I'm glad that you were able to get out for a run before the rain JJ.

Steve, a running friend who wasn't at todays lunch is suffering from exhaustion and has had to stop every time she tries to run. It's been going on for about 2 years, and the doctors are assuming that it's long term covid, as they can't find anything else wrong. She ran a solo virtual London marathon a couple of years ago, and I'm wondering whether that has anything to do with it.

Well done for your 6 miles Lesley in heavy rain.

Sounds like you had a good birthday all round hs yeah! Excellent interval session.

The weather is rubbish isn’t it. I haven’t ran today, my mam cancelled at lunch as she’s not feeling too well, it was raining so I opted not to get wet twice but by post work run it was torrential and not let at all since.

Glad your running mojo returned FF great run.

You’re wise to be careful with covid risk Jaks, it doesn’t take prisoners.

Debating going out for a few little miles as I feel so guilty skipping my run.

Headed out to heavy rain, a filling fell out and message from Karen saying absolutely fine no need to run so I wrapped done Xmas presents done some housework and wrote a list for Xmas shopping tomorrow. So thankful I took target pressure off I am feeling very tired today after the work trip last 2 days, esp that the flight was delayed over 2hrs getting home at 10pm last night.
