At my cousins wedding and so far 11 positives we’ve tested and are negative. No symptoms neither so fingers crossed. It’s a random thing as to who catches it.

That does look fab Lesley you’re so lucky to live in Scotland I would love to be nearer the proper hills and lochs.

That's the best kind of running environment Lesley. Great pic .
Glad the Farmer's Walk continues hs. and hope your "grass" park run went well this morning.
Fabulous miles gg. Difficult to know how to decide on a jab if you're likely to be unwell because of it. I've had four covid jabs now and flu jabs every year for 25 years and apart from achy arms never had any after effects. Having had covid twice I'm glad of the Vax because my one dose of it was very unpleasant and goodness knows how much more serious it might have been without having been vaccinated.

My furthest outing since May 2022 of 7.6 miles early today. Super conditions too along a lot of river trail. Started off in the dark and got to trails as sun was rising.

Great running you may not be as fast as you’d like but huge improvements on being able to run consistently and distance is on the up. Whoop!!

If they insist in eligible I will have it, I’d rather that than the real thing I just couldn’t cope with not being well after it, it was my friend who’d commented as last time we were both floored for 2 days.

It's all a bit of good/bad luck or even the placebo effect gg. Out of about thirty people I know who've had the jab only one felt a bit lousy after it and their ages range from 30-87. Of course it can really floor some people but they would likely be worse than floored if they caught covid without having been jabbed. I do know one person who had to be inspirated in hospital with covid and wasn't thought to survive, thankfully she did. That was before jabs were on the agenda.

Well done Lesley, that's a lovely picture.

It seems like tossing a coin GG, as to whether you have the jab on the allocated day, or not. 🤔

Well done Steve for your 7.6 miles this morning.

I did the Eastleigh parkrun this morning for the first time. I was disappointed with my 31.19, but was 1st MV75-80. It was quite a tough course, 3 hilly laps, and all on grass. Lots of holes and roots to look out for.

Great photo and congratulations on your 1st in age group HS. I also got 1st in AG today at Muncaster Castle. I also got further round the course before I had to walk. My aim is to run all the way around. One day 😂.

Loving that you are able to increase your mileage Steve, well done 👏.

Congratulations Jaks for your 1st in AG at Muncaster Castle. I'm sure that it won't be long before you will run the whole distance without walking. I was tempted to walk at times, but I'm from the "old school" when we didn't walk, no matter how much we were hurting.
