lovely longer run today, 7.5 total about 2.5 with geordiemum. I will be checking my eligibility as ultimately I'd rather those who are higher risk get the priority. But if its possible I'll take a risk of side effects over the risk of catching covid.

The only thing I can put it down too is my lungs were affected when I had an anaphylactic shock a few years ago. We'll see.

If you're listed you won't have taken any one else's appointment gg. As you know, once the admin work has been done, that's it! Well done on fitting in a longer run with everything that's going on.
No side effects of any kind after my jabs and the achy arm is ok too . 5k this morning just light enough for the trail. If I go out at the same time as usual next week it might well be head torch by Friday. It's still all run/walk, I'm enjoying it and accepting it but still can't fathom the huge decline in ability. My upcoming appointment might reveal something.

I’m so looking forward to your blog all about your race Pix 😁.

Nice running Steve and GG 👏👏
Going to go out with my dog in a bit, we might get a bit wet as the weather is horrible.

Sorry I’ve been away so can’t comment on everything but lots of great stuff happening.
I’ve a 10 mile event on Sunday not really had the quality of training I’d like and will most likely “get round” for some miles but it will depend on the weather as forecast warm.

Well done GG for yesterday's longer run.

It's definitely worth having the jab to help prevent catching covid.

It's good to hear that you appear to have no adverse effects from your jabs Steve, and were able to run/walk 5k this morning.

Good luck for Sunday EPix

I hope you and your dog don't get wet during your run Jaks. The sun 🌞 is shining here.

Good luck LL with Sundays 10 mile event. I hope that it won't be too hot. Make sure that you are well hydrated before hand.

Just the usual Friday Farmers Walk this morning.

We will be trying the Eastleigh parkrun tomorrow, which is all on grass. It should be interesting if the grass is long and bumpy.

I’ve postponed my vax, I’ve always suffered after the jabs and I’m away with work again Monday & Tuesday so I don’t want to risk getting bad. The receptionist was equally bemused by my jab so she said she’d try to find out why I’ve been tagged. I’ll attempt another appt after my holiday.

I ran to the dentist and it eased my achy back quite a lot (hurt it moving furniture yesterday) and back the long way 9.3m total.

Good luck to Pix and LL in your races and to all park running and doing any other exciting stuff. Can’t believe it’s been a week since the final preps for the wedding!

The week has certainly gone quick. Well done on your run GG and your farmers walk HS. We certainly did get wet on our run this morning I had to put a towel on the seat so I didn’t soak the seat through, the back seat has a throw over it as Mo always gets dirty/sandy/wet when we are out.

Wish I could get the Covid jab as I’ve not had Covid yet and it’s rife around here at the moment.

This week has gone quick. Heading home from my holidays tomorrow - in the pouring rain.

Good running everyone this week.

I got a 9 mile run done this morning, it was very windy! I did an out and back to Loch an Eilein, it's stunning. There is a wee island with a ruined castle on it. I didn't go that far round though.
