18.4 miles on various terrain, mostly road, but some grass and some track too. I even managed to stay dry but it was windy. I deliberately chose to run into the wind for the first 7 miles so the rest was back or side wind

LL, I'm sorry to hear that your parkrun didn't go too well.

Thanks, this mornings run went well, and I think that I'm beginning to regain a bit of pace.

FF, well done for your very long multi- terrain run.

Good running everyone. Sounds like it's been pretty wet everywhere. Sorry about your parkrun result LL.

I did my long run on Thursday as I was off work. It was pretty wet although the sun did appear for a little while. I went up the local hill and did some trails. One was a little overgrown but it was fine.

It was the wee man's birthday on Friday, he's now 4. So lots of munching cake this weekend. I did 10k this lunchtime on a hilly loop. Managed to get back before the heavy rain.

Great photos Lesley but there's no way your wee one is 4, 2 maybe but 4 😯😯 I really can't believe it's that long ago since he was born. Wow time flies as we get older. Happy birthday to him and well done for your runs this week.

Nice pictures Lesley. It's unbelievable that your wee man is 4 years old. Where do the years go!
Well done for your running and happy birthday to the birthday boy 🎂

This morning was another 10 miles in the forest with the Monday Group.

Sorry FF I missed your post. Nice to run into the wind on the out. Nothing worse than turning back and not realising.

Well done on your 10 HS. Just over 5 today I have kept my green tick this month so far so motivated by that.

Rest day tomorrow.

Looby Loo I do tend to look at the wind direction when I do a long run and plan accordingly ;-)

Thanks LL, FF and HS. I know I can't quite believe he's four, time has flown past.
