Plenty of early morning rain so a wet two miler. My knee is finally ok. The rest of me isn't 😂! Patience! I hope to break fifty miles this month which will be the best I will have done over a month this year. All in all it's an interesting period noting how(or if) I'm progressing. I'm still doing and still stuck on very easy efforts because of how my lungs respond; probably need to introduce some faster running to get a decent training effect.

Good news on the knee Steve. Maybe short intervals would suit Steve.
I did a 4 mile progressive last night. 2 out 2 back along a river it was a lovely evening for it. ( club run) FF I’m lucky to be retired now. 25 years of shift work meant I could rarely do club stuff either.

Glad to hear that your knee is now ok Steve. Well done for running in the rain. LL's suggestion of short intervals is a good idea, and I think fartleks would also be good. You can control the efforts and recoveries, without the restrictions of timed efforts, recoveries etc.

LL, another constructive training session last night. Are you park running tomorrow?

It's raining steadily here in Hampshire, and the forecast is the same over the weekend. It's likely that our local parkrun will revert to Course B, which will be less wet and muddy.

No running for me today, but I have completed the Farmers Walk in the rain.

I will parkrun HS 2 of my grandchildren are visiting so had planned to take them to the coast but weather not looking good. We then decided to do a national trust one but although the run is on the trust property is closed. So still have to decide where to go!

Good luck if you’re doing one.

We didn't do the parkrun this morning because of the very high winds, and the forecast of heavy rain. As it happened, the rain held off, but the wind didn't.
Instead we did a 4.54 mile fartlek over most of the solo route I did on Thursday.

I did my first parkrun since 3rd June in wet and windy conditions. Have been away with CCF for two weeks so was nice to get back into civilian clothing!

A solo 4.16 miles on roads this morning at a steady pace, with efforts on hills.

I ticked off another parkrun went local in the end due to weather but it wasn’t too bad. Didn’t run too well no idea why. Well done on yours Mrs b.
Hope you enjoyed your 4 HS I did a 5k out one direction with my daughter then walked back a trail river route.
