The problem with lung suffering post Covid, seems to fairly common. Several of our club runners are still not back to their previous fitness/run pace.

It's good that your wife motivates you Steve, and hopefully, after you receive the rest of the data from your tests, you will be running again.

Typically on a non running day, the sun is shining, with no hint of rain. The forecast tomorrow, however, is for heavy rain.

Went out for a run today, beautiful blue skies but a bit blustery however the rain came about 4m from home. I sacked it off at 7m and got lift rather than battling head wind & rain on the uphill home. Decision made easier as I had a blister forming under my foot.

Very wise GG to get a lift home. Under foot blisters are very painful.

It's only a line and it's either one to strive for or one to never cross, life is never simple is it. Whatever miles you have done this year is still a lot more than most of the country, well done everyone on the thread.

Weather was atrocious this morning, very heavy rain, and nearly gale force winds. Several local parkruns were cancelled, so I did a solo 5k road run. I was pleased, considering the conditions, with my 30.36 minutes time, which is a 64.27% WAVA.

Well done hillstrider, I stayed indoors again and have only ventured outdoors since lunch and it stopped raining. We've been charity shop trawling for something to dress up in 80's style for an 80's weekend in early February. I don't do fancy dress but tbh quite looking forward to that weekend.

An eighties weekend sounds great fun FF.

Will you be having an eighties band, or eighties music?
