Well done South coast Pete, it's 9.40 so you must have hit the target!

You've made it SCP well done.

Ran 6.32 miles this morning with 2 running friends, on trails and road. This included 5 x 2 minutes hard, with 2 minutes jog recoveries on a flat stretch of road, closed to traffic. Fastest pace was 8.45 minute miling on the 5th effort.

That's right, but I know that each rep should be the same pace.

Ideally but that's very difficult to achieve.

I like to do a set of intervals at a similar pace and then try for a greater effort for the last. It's a good test of how we perform on tired legs.

Southcoastpete, well done on achieving the target.

An undulating forest run this morning. I ran 12k at recovery pace, on achy legs from yesterday's interval session.

Hope the PF clears up soon FF

I have tripped over 1300 now after the last couple of runs.

I was listening to a podcast the other day and they were talking to a runner who has started coaching and she explained that she creates individual training plans and has various levels of coaching I’m thinking of signing up for her 12 week basic plan next year to get me to my multi day run event in good shape.

Sounds like a good idea gg.
I did a 10mile event today. 140:44.
The exact same time as I did the same event in 2011 10 years on I’ll take it…
