Back to trails! Four miles with my wife with headtorch, some drizzle but windless, mild, quite perfect conditions. Double figures.. that's great Lesley. I've not done double figures this year and actually don't intend to😂!! Good running scp and that sub 30. 😂 Just remembered that often when I was competitive in the olden days, if anyone did a pb or a fast run in a race they would temporarily be deflated when a bunch of us would say it was a "short course"!! Quite childish but a bitofa laugh!

Good to see you've taken a couple of recovery days LL after your race. Too many people forget that recovery is important when considerable effort has been put in.

Good to see that you're back on trails Steve.
Today is a rest day for me, but will be hill reps in the forest tomorrow.

Made it! Last night's run took me over the 1000 mile mark for the year, but I didn't even realise until I got an Fmail from Steve45. Thanks buddy, that made me smile

Well done Groundhog, for crossing the 1,000 mile line!
Ran 4.74 miles in the forest this morning with a running friend. This included 3 hills, 5 minutes up and down each, with 2 minutes recovery between each. I was pleased with my HR average 136, max 159.

Nice one Groundhog! Nice session HS.
I have a track session tonight but legs a bit tired so won’t push too hard.

Ugh, just when my miles were getting easier my ( usual!) right foot wouldn't let me put weight on it yesterday afternoon. No apparent reason..it happens now and again so it's a couple of no running days. Pity because me and my wife had planned a seven miler through the woods on her morning off work. That's how it goes! Don't overdo effort before Sunday LL!

That’s a shame Steve but at least it’s something you know about rather than an unknown injury.
I did my track but didn’t bust a gut. May do a slow jog around parkrun but may well rest until Sunday’s half. Happy running all its a beautiful day here.
