What a fine long run MrHSc...18 miles at a very steady pace throughout, you must be pleased despite the effort! Your miles have truly upped Lesley, another 13.1 miles as well as fruit picking afterwards (cross training!!) serving you well re fitness. Despite the nettles etc FF that was a good 13 miler; pace isn't so relevant off road and is undoubtedly better training really. Fabulous park run hs, first in your age group is excellent. Yeah, the athletics were great hs, only a couple of minor disappointments with Molly third and the relay team messing up the changes. |

Thanks Lesley. Well done for your 13.1 miles including a parkrun. I'm glad to hear that the wee man is making progress! Thanks Steve, I was pleased with my time, as I thought that the humidity would slow me down. I'm looking forward to the Olympics now😀 Well done for this mornings 2 miles, keeping you on track for the 1000 miles. I ran a solo 6.35 miles in the forest this morning feeling good. It was a recovery run from yesterday's parkrun, but a bit quicker than intended |

Well done as ever on a great pr hs and a quicker than intended recovery run. I realised I’d forgotten the gift box for godson’s birthday yesterday so ran back to town to pick up one before we head back to Marina. Not sure what number I thought I had but I was intending to round up to 30.5 and I’m now at 31.2. Really should check these things I could have ran 0.30 more for 31.5 😂 Well don’t got ticking over Steve. |

Good news Lesley and well done. Well Done GG,FF HS and Steve sorry if I’ve missed anything. I did my parkrun yesterday not my best but ok. I’m quite often 1st in age so when I checked my group I saw I was 5/13. When I checked the lady who won my age which is 60/64 did 18 odd mins with a WAVA of almost 106 I’d never seen anybody with a WAVA over 100 the standard in the group was very good so I didn’t feel so bad 🤣 |

Blimey @Looby Loo that lady was motoring at 18 minutes and oddments. I'd love a sub 20 but I'd need to do some proper training and I just can't be bothered with that. That's a fantastic wava, well done for your parkrun though.

Thanks GG. Rounding up or down can be a bit of a hassle. Well done FF for your 14.71 miles, mainly on trails. Thanks LL. That 18 odd minutes by an 60-64 year old lady is unbelievable. She must have been an elite runner in her prime. My 5k pb is 18.08, WAVA 78.77%, set in the Victoria Cup (Portsmouth) in 1992 when I was 46. |
