Well done HS I too did a sort of interval set.

4:88 in total. I had loaned my Garmin to someone who’d altered all my settings so I was getting pace alerts in KM’s when I’m used to miles. Was a bit of a nuisance as it was broken down into KM’s too so hard to judge my pace.

Thanks LL, I used the lap button on my Garmin to record the lap times. I don't rely on the alerts, as I'm never sure if I'm above or below them. That must have been very frustrating for you that someone had altered all your settings.

I failed this mornings Wordle, and so far am the only one 😕

LL not a good thing for them to do, return as received is a good mantra!

The ability to return to a post is fabulous, thank you to all who suggested it, very much appreciated.

Not done much running abroad, but two we managed last year were the Bethlehem HM and the Jerusalem HM in eight days. The Jerusalem HM is noted as one of the toughest in the world (according to AIMs) but for both the scenery is fantastic and the crowd support incredible.

Our local parkrun we think, is the only one that tells people to run to the left when going north as running to the right means going over the cliff, no one been over, yet!

A steady 5.01 miles this morning, I thought I had stopped the Garmin at 5.00........

I ran a solo 7 miles in the forest this morning in lovely sunshine 🌞 I felt surprisingly good, especially after yesterday's hilly circuits session.

wow having visited both Bethlehem and Jerusalem I bet they were amazing races. Well done!

My garmin often does that too TanTan, I have to manually remove the .01 as strange numbers drive me insane

I would be furious if someone messed with my settings on a watch (or anything) that I had kindly loaned them. I hope you can get them back to your settings Loo.

Well done on the runs everyone.

I was up at 5.15 this morning, not unusual waking that early but today I went out with my pal at 6 for a 5m run, we both feel so fatigued at the moment its crazy and I'm sure its the weather.

But holiday starts tonight, off to the boat for a week while the weather is still unsettled it will be nice to have time to switch off from the crazy work life I'm living at the moment.

(Its so good that you can flick around the site and come back to your post! Fetch is brilliant!)

Hillstrider: I rarely run early morning but when I do, I love it. Well done.

Jack: really interesting about Nedd and his challenge, thank you for posting.

Overseas running: nothing from me, but the Tokyo marathon is on my bucket list. I tell people I've done the Boston marathon and often they fail to hear 'UK' at the end of the sentence!

Two runs to add 5.0 and 7.2. Happy to pass the 7 mile point in 58.something.

Ytd: 484.4

Well done on the running everyone

Also out shortly after 6 for 3.5 miles, no running yesterday as was suffering from too much indulging the night before for our 26th wedding anniversary, 3 weeks early but my wife’s off home to Ireland for a month next week.

I’ve run marathons in Dubai(3), Belfast(3), Edinburgh(2), Majorca, Kathmandu, east Nepal (trail) and Baghdad. Baghdad was not an official marathon but ran one when I worked there, had to stick to the paths as the sand either side hadn’t been cleared of land mines.

GG that sounds like a wonderful week away. We were fortunate to go to Israel and Palestine independently, so we were able to run both races. Donnie that sounds as if your speed is coming back? DR I think you win on Baghdad!

Went to the gym and before my PT did 6*400 at 5km pace, tough but done. 3.47 miles, as a long WU and WD. PT told me to work on my core on Monday, so anyone any favourite exercises?????
