Those PB's are off the back of all the marathon training, that's why after 5 weeks of recovery runs (after the marathon) I started another marathon plan even though I had no intention of running another this year. I enjoyed the regularity and discipline of it all until I needed to finish the diy and then lost the momentum and interest although I maintained the long runs. Trying to be stricter on myself currently with doing project joker which is only 3 runs a week, so not overtaking my life but I'm still getting out there. I shall do a 12 week marathon plan in the new year instead of an 18 week plan starting in mid December.

Well done FF!

I was out with some friends this morning running part of the D99 route. 2 steep technical ascents and descents. Frosty morning but lots of sunshine.

Well done FF!

I snuck in another marathon yesterday. 6 minutes faster than last weekend. I'm off to see my sports physiology/chiropracter on Wednesday to get everything put back into the right places, but I really enjoyed yesterday!

Well done FF and MrsB who is a glutton for punishment.

Ran the clubs Solent Half Marathon race route again this morning with 3 club mates. Really enjoyed the run and beginning to believe that my fitness is returning. Ran hard up the hills, and sprinted down them. It's classified as fast and flat, but with 312 feet elevation is anything but.
