Seems like I'm definitely in a minority then by going out early mornings! Running's great though, no matter what time of the day or night.

Afternoon All. Just added myself to the group. Looking foward to 2012. West Highland Way Race in June, plus at least 4 other Ultras planned

Nice gentle 4.5miles today (in the afternoon, but during work hours!), amazingly mild running conditions so went out instead of the rest day I had planned. Feels good now!

Hi 1K gang. After a slow day at work I mapped out my training plan for the next few months and realised that (health permitting) I should hit 1000 miles by sometime in May... Stupid marathon training... My target is currently set to 1500 anyway, but I still like to hang out here with the cool gang (the higher mileage threads are a bit too serious for my taste...)
Anyway, blitzed out 12 miles tonight, feeling pretty good about running presently, even more so following the two pints of post-run with my new partner in crime

6 miles last night with a very steep hill to finish. Still behind my mileage targets but hope to catch it up this weekend with a good long run

I actually saw 2 other runners out this morning at about 5.30. It's nice to know I'm not the only one! Up to 33 miles now so far this month and just over target.

I did a morning run for the first time since ...... ever, actually. It's HORRIBLE! Cold and grey with Range Rovers on the school run trying to kill every pedestrian, cyclist, runner, or dog walker. Arrived at the office (late!) tired and sweaty and thirsty and sleep-deprived and then had to try to get my brain switched on to do some mental stuff.
Now it's PM I am falling asleep. Face down on the keyboard.
Nope - evening runs are the only way to go.

Have at an least 5.9 mile tonight. will probably be longer if we plan the route wrong between the various checkpoints.
