I shan't make the 1000 miles target unfortunately; only 30 to go but I don't know if my hip/thigh is willing for me to any more running this month - certainly not 30. Next year, I'll stick with this group, as you are such wonderful & encouraging people, but I might have to lower my target later on.

Unlucky Evangel, still 9 days to go though, you may feel up for it more next week.
I had to cut my planned 10 mile run short last night as my right quad was really troubling me so I just did 6. That leaves me with 36 still to do. Definite rest day today and then I'm off until next Wednesday so I should hopefully be able to get a good chunk of that 36 done.
I've decided that the first week of next year is an official rest week

Well done all you 1,000+ runners :):)
20 more miles for me to do, so I'm hopeful With the Gut Buster 10miler on New Years Eve that should just about do it, obviously with a few other runs between now and then
Keep plugging away those of you that are almost there, come on....we can do this!! :):)

OB- Yes so far it's a good move, especially with all the creative freedom I have to sort my own methods of working, and its great working for someone who says' 'come when you like, so long as the hours are covered'!
