Well done Columba, hang in there Caterpillar and Hickerton.
I had a deliberate break for 4 days over the festive period to spend time with family and to give my legs a bit of a break. I got back out again for 10 miles last night to leave me with 26 to go for the 1000. I'm back at work tomorrow but I expect it will be very quiet so I'm going to get a lunchtime run in each day and then do whatever is left on Saturday

10 miles today, so now on 1018 but my body obviously didn't want to do it this morning as it hurled me to the ground less than a mile in, but I made it get up and carry on!

ouch Lalli that's not good. I hope you're ok?
I managed to get to the 1,000 target this evening on my club run :):) and the point at the run when I reached the target was right next to the 'dog poo bin' landmark we use for intervals!! Niiiiice!!
But, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyy!! I did it! I am now going to retired to a bubbly bath for an hour or so with a glass of Baileys and some chocolate

Yay! Well done Julzy. I'm fine thanks - rather black and blue hip and twisted foot and another pair of ruined running gloves. But that'll not stop me!Congrats on your 1000!

Hi everybody and congrats to all those who reached target or are about to. I missed out do to injuries in aug and sept so will try again next year, has anybody started a new group for 1000 in 2012 yet?
