Columba, thanks, but I try not to worry about it, even though it is frustrating. I like to continue visiting this thread to keep in touch, but otherwise I try to focus on the other things I'm involved in. Anyway, well done you for just about hitting the target now.
Well done all of you achieving the 1000. I'm still not sure whether to aim for 1000 next year again or maybe only 750.

5 and a half miles today, bringing me just over the thousand!
(Did the dance twice, - once when I thought I'd probably reached the 1000, the other when I got home and knew I must have)
Bring out the champagne!
Lalli - I suppose it always seems a bit sad when a target's been achieved and you look around and think "What now?" But at least with running, there's always: "set a new target".
