CeeGee Really, really enjoyed this run, even though the path was underwater for about half a mile near IBM (soggy trainers, ergh!) and the wind was a killer for the last 2 miles!! I lost quite a bit of ground in the final mile and was a bit dissapointed, but I soon cheered up when I saw my time!!(I'm giving myself a pat on the back for this one as I damaged ankle ligaments at the beginning of November and have only been back in training for a week!) Will definetly be back next year!! :)

Em Entered on line so hopefully in as it may be late and entries full, dont know why Ive entered as not rained much since having a long rest and being ill after GSR, but it will get me back into it again, lets hope for good weather.*** UPDATE*** am I only one who thought the wind wasnt as bad as I thought coming back along the promanade??? Yes it was windy by IBM and wet but all in all I was expecting much worse. Had a nice gentle run and did what I wanted, I know I have a lot more to come next year and can run much quicker but pleased I got round and wasnt sick even though I felt it at the end, saw 2 fetches at the start but was to shy to say hello!!! Well done those who did it and those who PB'd

eMpTy Didn't really have a plan and paid the price for going too fast at start 6:30 and 6:49 for first 2 miles, never recovered from the water hazard that was IBM in mile 3 and suffered badly against the wing in the last mile. Time is roughly in line with two previous attempts at this race but conditions were by far the worst. Long way from a PB though :o(

Hairy Legs Found it hard - very windy and quite wet on route. Course is flat and has PB potential - very crowded at the start (several people fell on the lap of track).

Hendo Well, after two weeks off with various issues including a chest infection I decided to try and hack my way round this. It was very very windy indeed (the tannoy man said 40mph winds), and parts of the course were under water, which also made it quite a challenge. Dazza and I were neck and neck pretty much all the way round, and come the sprint finish I managed to find enough to cross the line at the same time as him. The crowd went wild :)
Good to meet JJ and Blackers at last, as well as the lovely Tarange. Enjoyable race despite struggling to breathe for the most part! Oh, and a PB!

The Plodder Really windy. Slow start as I started too far back, but then consistent splits:
