Ticketyboo A PB today was almost a gimme as I have only ever ran hilly 10 mile races and it was nice to meet so many fetchies. Felt terrible with stomach pains throughout and it has been a long time since I wanted to stop so much in a race and may have done if it wasn't for Fannybawz breathing down my neck. Overall a good workout prior to Lochaber in 2 weeks time but disappointed not to go under an hour. (Finishing position 23 out of 171)

bedlam_g Big PB (just under 5min), a bit surprised at my time as IMHO I didn’t run a very good race, on the first lap I got stuck in traffic a lot and kept trying to make up the time by going too fast. Struggled badly in the 2nd lap and even if I’d known I was so close to 1 hour I doubt I’d have been able to do much about it. Met lots of lovely people (apologies to Shyfire for being rude my spaced out pre race head was to blame).

Vic Mason Very pleased with my performance today and chuffed to bits with 10 mile time. Psychologically this has given me a boost for the Lochaber Marathon in 2 weeks time. Thanks to everyone (you know who you are) on winning me credit points. And it was a pleasure meeting other Fetchies today. 27th position out of 171 finishers.

RichyC Got unofficial 10m pb during Edinburgh 1/2m recently when I reached 10 in just under 65mins so would like to think I could do it again properly in this race. UPDATE: 37th position, 1.04.03. What should've been a really enjoyable race in lovely weather felt like a bit of an effort for some reason today. Just didn't feel as comfortable as normal and really could've done with a water stop. Pb by over 4mins though so have to be happy with that but I can't say it was great fun unfortunately.

Roadrunner Bark This was a fast 10 Mile Road race, I finished 33rd out of 171 runners. This was my last time running unattached as I then joined

Billy-Whizz-Haining Felt tired from the start, probably due to racing in the Heaven and Hell Half last week but i managed to dig deep to knock 15 seconds of my PB time and finish 3rd Vet 50+, also met a few Fetchies for the first time wich was nice, cheers.

Russell M Missed the postal entry date so hopefully I'll still be able to register on the day. Never done a 10 miler before, if I get my pace right maybe I can get near 68min but anything under 72 will do for a first attempt. **UPDATE** Pleased with my time, beat my prediction but really let myself down by setting off too quickly. 6 min miling at the start and really paid the price for it in the fourth mile, started going backwards and couldn't get my pace back up. Recovered after mile five and made up some good ground on teammates until the end of the race but kicking myself for the bad (or lack of) strategy. Good day for racing, qiute warm towards the end though!

ian9657 Was initially planning to do 7.5 min/miles so started slow and grew stronger. Ideal run in ideal conditions, ate my way through the course overtaken loads and finished with a sprint to split Andy and Maddie.

IanS Good race, ideal weather and well organised. Got towed round first half by Dylexik, then tried to return the favour in the second half :-) First time ever running a 10 miler so happy to beat my target of 80 minutes. Legs a bit tired in the last couple of miles but not too bad overall. Time is provisional result.

Dvorak Faster than expected, but didn't really enjoy it. £12 for no water stations, no water at finish when I got there, and a course congested with non runners. Doubt if I would do it again. A really good race could be had in the Strathie, but this wasn't it. (Watch time)

keef first two miles pace was too fast,roughly7.5min/miles,slowed into a steady pace,at 5 miles was happy with times/pace,last two miles was a struggle,a water station at some point would have been a good idea
