Features This was my first 10-mile race. Didn't enter a prediction but was hoping for about 1:45:00 so was very pleased with the outcome. Weather conditions were difficult at times but it was a great experience and met lots of lovely people again!

FML Not entered yet, going to see how training goes as stepping up from 10k to 10 mile with only 7 weeks training. Entered, just hoping for nice weather. Well didn't get nice weather but still enjoyed it apart from the Muddy stretch... Don't like XC. Good to meet other members from Fetch and touched Girlie's NY Marathon Medal!!! Want one!!

Pricey My first ever 10-miler. Aiming to get under an hour. Should be possible from my 1:19 half mara PB, but have had 3 weeks light training since then because I've been away on honeymoon. UPDATE: Didn't manage to get under an hour. No tempo runs for 6 weeks should have told me I'd lost a bit of fitness. That's what happens when you go off to get married ! he he. Room for improvement next year anyway

Ted OK, ranking points say I can break 1:19:00. Plan to run this with darkhorse as his pace biatch. Or maybe we shall just be near each other as we run. Official time now posted. Probably an extra point for everyone, after all it is the season of good will.

ThorntonRunner First time doing this one. Only my third 10m race - first one was on HOT day (30 degrees), second I was starting recovery from injury, so pretty confident of pb. Would like to do 6:45 pace (1:07:30), but suspect I won't quite manage that. Would be VERY disappointed with 1:10:00 or over. UPDATE: Good result. Went well, paced it well. Enjoyed the course and the weather wasn't as bad as I'd feared it would be. Glad to have delivered on the fetch bets.
