Team Win Had a shocker of a run equalling my worst time over the distance. Went off too quick with 5.40 for 1st mile, 6.00 for 2nd mile then was just hanging on after that. The heat was a nightmare but good race with goody bag.

Simons Dad Going to try for another PB!!! Very hot today, but managed to take another 27 seconds off my PB!!!! Plenty of points for those of you who bet on me. More people run this each year, and it's a great experience. A brilliant goody bag, and everyone even got a tray of 12 Muller yoghurts at the end!!!! I think I'll be back again next year.

Striderdan struggled a bit after night out on saturday! Also very hot weather and tired from long training runs on friday & saturday. Still not too bad considering. Liked the race organisation and atmosphere. Good rewards at end with a tray of muller yoghurts and a proper technical t-shirt. Will do it again.

LeekAndy Very hot day for my first race. I started at the back, thinking everyone looked faster and more serious than me, but then found i was overtaking for the whole race. Just enjoyed the first mile, (8 mins) then tryed to slow it down a bit, 'cause i thought i couldn't do 8 minute miles in that heat or for that distance. Held some in reserve, then ran fast around the field to the finish, sprinting past 3 people. I recorded 52:22 (gun time is 52:41).

quimby Tough in the heat, but very glad I ran - an excellent race! T-shirt was top quality, nice hefty medal, plus all the extras, and fab organisation.

speedy1 Unfortunately not a very good day for me. The weather was fab but too hot and I really suffered all the way to the finish. But other than that it was a good day and course and the organisation was great too with what can only be described as a fantastic goodybag.
