HowFar? A much faster time than I thought I would get. I managed to get into a group of about 6 or 7 other runners at 4 miles and they pulled me round until about the 9 mile mark. Another lad from my club then took up the pace and I stayed with him for another 3 miles. Last mile was all about trying to catch the guy infront and then keep ahead of him. I was making very odd noises by the end, but was delighted with the time. I did have some of Princess Purple Bubbles flap jack recipe in the morning. Hope it's not on some banned list.

RunningBob 27th. Went out fast with 5th mile in 5.19 on pb pace but IT band became painful at 7 miles and positively limped the last 3 miles.

Should Av Run Quicker Nice event to start the year off. Thought I'd take it easy to start but went off like a shot. Didn't do as much hill training as I should have in the run up to this and it showed on every incline. Pleased with my time in the end as it was a PB at the time on a tough course.

clairster WOW!! Cannot believe how fast this was. Excellent race, great scenary even if the hills towards the end did make me swear. Was going for 1.50 and got 1.43 on the chip, 1.45 on the gun!! still in shock!

Sezz Hurrah! A PB by 44 seconds. Lovely scenic coure but found the never ending hills quite tough and mentally draining.
