Flat Out Fi 1st race of this season for the Walden Tri club at a new venue in a lovely big park in St Albans! Was a bit of a trek to get there but really enjoyed the race which was a 3 lap course of the park - quite undulating and had a couple of v v slippy muddy bits! Luckily I somehow managed to stay upright today!! :o)) Felt I paced it well and was 80th overall but not sure where I was in the ladies as they dont do the mens and womens results separately. Course was 5.41 miles in total according to my Garmin! V windy day today but at least it was milder! Was 1st lady home for the Walden Tri Club so happy about that! Great morning and met some new Tri ladies too -and enjoyed Clare's 50th b-day cake afterwards! 6th lady overall
