Bugis Having only run 5 miles per week for the last 5 weeks due to getting over an injury, I thought this might be a challenge too far. Started off t 8min/mie pace but soon got into running quicker for some daft reason. Went through 10 in 1:17 and !/2 Marathon in 1:42, ten the wheels came off at 16. Cramped in left hamstring and the persistent rain running into my socks, made it feel as though I was running with broken glass in them. Had to resort to run/walk for last 4 miles, hence time of 3:06:57. Happy with that though considering lack of training. Hope it hasn't botched up my Guernsey runs next week though or Paris in April!

Bul 5th. Felt pretty great, got faster in last 3 miles too which for me is a bit weird. Bring on FLM. 21.2 miles really.

Cazros A good race - apart from the wind and rain. My fingers were so cold by the finish that I couldn't unlock my car door.... Still nice route, good company for the first half and a great confidence booster for the marathon. :-)

funkin Not racing this one. Should be somewhere around 2:45. **UPDATE** I didn't race it, I didn't even run it. Calf tear has scuppered things at the moment! Instead I supported and cheered the winner of the 12 mile race (who's a good friend) home.

JessM God the weather was miserable. Still happy with the pace and thing I can find a few seconds for FLM. Fuelling/Water strategy ok, but have a nasty general sick feeling which doesn't seem to be easily solved.

mickyursofine The weather was persistent drizzle, but despite this I completed my first 21 mile run, spot on my predicted time. Very pleased and feeling much more confident about the upcoming FLM, which was my hope beforehand.

Many thanks to the organisers for putting it all together - I enjoyed it.

PhilPub Excellent confidence booster for Paris Marathon in 3 wks. Ran the first lap at 6:45ish/mile, then maintained just quicker than required pace for a 2:45 mara and finished feeling very comfortable. Bul - glad you made it 21.2 as well. Only another 5 to go and we're there!

SuzyWoo Enjoyed this run - managed to stay at ~7:50-8min/miles all the way round which is target mara pace! Great organisation and marshalls and really friendly support, especially from the town!
