GazzaC Awful conditions, wet, windy and impossible to avoid puddles. One big hill at 6.5 miles (which you meet again at 13 miles) which was a killer for me! I got stuck in the car park too!

domichiwa Chip time. 327th. Beats my previous PB of 1 39 30 set at the Bristol Half way back in 1997 (that was a wet day as I recall)! Only the second time under 1 40. Not old and past it yet! Well pleased. (Gun time 1 39 52)

rooooley my first half for nearly 7 years, staying in a caravan Saturday till Monday, can`t wait!! Great race, very cold at start, I was the only one in a short sleaved T.shirt! Just pleased to get around with no injuries, came 1161 out of 1767

TK Running Turned up, wind howling, cold, rain and hail sideways around mile 9..........absoloutely loved it. Sure conditions could of been better but felt great when I had finished.Predicted 2.15 but manged 2.06.36. Really chuffed for my first half marathon. I have not spoken to any fetchies but saw a few, should of said hello, will know next time..........get a fetchies running shirt....saw canary yellow, will say hello next time.

joelene This was my first half marathon and it nearly put me of for life. The weather was horrendous and it was like running against a brick wall with the wind, but i will be there next year, so lets hope the weather is alot better.

Joopsy I will PB at this distance, by how much depends on how my training goes. As long as I get a solid month in beforehand I will PB by at least 6 mins. Update****Forget 6 mins, it was nearly 23!! Enjoy the points***

Glitzie The weather was awful today cold, wet and windy. First half of the race was okay and I was averaging 8.30 miles so was on target for a PB but the second half the wind and rain got me at 9 miles across the fields and I started going backwards. I hated it. Just glad to have scraped in under 2 hours.

hopisen Although the weather was appalling, was really pleased to get a PB. First ten miles were really good, on track for 2 h 10.. the last three were a real struggle though, and I had to really slow for the last 5 k. Still now I know what I need to do to get another PB. Am really pleased, and charged up for doing another one in spring- I f I get the last three miles sorted I can see knocking off a nother couple of minutes
