Fat Man Runs Really disappointed by this one - over three minutes slower than last year (I was expecting about two) and what's worse slower than last week(although hillier I was expecting to be quicker) - still with the hills I guess it's going in the right direction!

Firestarter A little slower than last year, which was 33:09, I was hoping to beat it but whats 4 seconds.............in my cas about 6 places! My Garmin alson measured it at over 5miles, 5.07 to be precise, and had me at 32:51 for 5 miles!
Course was the same as last year with a long drag up the bypass to the water tower, but once past that then is mostly downhill and flat coming home.
a little disappointed not to better my time, but am satisfied that I'm still sub 7 avg pace.

SteveC Ran even - concerned about effects of stomach bug from last two days! Nothing to worry about, and finished with a bit left in the tank. Looking forward to pushing it at Markfield in two weeks time.

Broccers So pleased. Was aiming for 8 min miles and managed 7:53 even though it was a nasty hilly course. I'll get that under 50 10K yet!

Rich963 Was hoping for a quick time - took 94 seconds off my 6 mile pb last time out, so something similar here would be great. Been training long, but took a couple of easier days beforehand, so should be good. Aiming for clubmate that was 5 seconds ahead last time out....
Managed a pb, but by less than expected - still 44 seconds up on last year. Started too quick, chasing down clubmate. Was hoping to push on from decent position at half way, but didn't have anything left in my legs. 4th for club, 72nd overall, so best ever finish.

ThorntonRunner Have lost a fortnight's training since round 1 to illness, so really not sure how this will go - would like to beat 32:30, but doubt it...
UPDATE: Disappointed! Clearly, the two weeks off has had more of an effect than I'd thought. Just need to up the training for Markfield now. My Garmin said 5.03.
