Yes that’s correct. I record on my garmin as well as Zwift which means I can upload to Fetch and also get my Vitality points.

I just upload the fit file manually to fetch before I turn the computer off. Only takes a couple of seconds once you have found where it is saved.

That’s a faff though isn’t it? And because I have Vitality policies I only get the points on an automatic upload. Which is also the reason I have a Garmin and not a Wahoo (I won one last year but had to sell it)

I’m even lower tech. I just do a manual training update to FE, I even consolidate multiple activities in to one!
I’m tempted to by a fancier turbo - I have a tacx vortex - as I’ve got it in my mind that I must be at an efficiency disadvantage versus those with something like a wahoo kickr. Anyone any thoughts?

What’s interesting is that I also use Smashrun which pulls its data from Garmin. Smashrun did pull through my Zwift run via Garmin. Oh well, not too much of a big deal.

Just had a go on an MTB steering via phone and it was a bit like steering a supertanker in a storm. Not fun.
Shame they didn't address the offroad element just with power - pedalling enough to get speed to clear jumps and easing off on corners or some such would have probably been better for more people than messing around with steering.

Ah the fun of APIs after IM’s virtual race provider got in trouble for just using a single API for all customers and got blocked in Strava.

Agree simbil. Riding a real bike and then trying to steer like you’re actually on a PlayStation is a bit daft to me. I haven’t even tried it.
